The basic set is always 2 modules. The small one can be used outside or in another room. But you can also use a different meter, depending on what your goal is. I have both Netatmo and Eve Room (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/eve-room-heimautomatisierung-9580950). The advantage of Eve is that it is compatible with Apple Home Kit and other services.
