Question about AsRock B550 Pro4

If I buy the ASRock B550 motherboard and a new AMD CPU Zen3 generation. Can I update the old bios with the new CPU? Or is there already a bios on it that recognises the AMD CPU Zen3 Generation?

as far as i know, all b550 and x570 require a bios update,

you might be lucky and get a mainboard that has already been updated to the latest bios by the manufacturers or Digitec. but since the new cpus have only just come out, the chance is very small.

With the b450 and ryzen 3000, the mainboards gradually received more and more bios updates. If you buy a b450 today, the chances are very high that they are ryzen 3000 ready.
There was also a ryzen 3000 ready sticker, but unfortunately the online dealers did not give any information as to whether the mainboards they received had this sticker. It will probably be similar here
