If I am in a country that uses 110v and only a 2-pin plug, would it alternatively be possible to charge this laptop via the thunderbolt (usb-c) connection? If so, how much W would the plug adapter have to have?

This laptop can be charged via USB-C indeed. You need a 65W charger, more will work too.
