I would very much like to know whether the robot hoover is also possible without the dust bag. Or are there some that work without the dust bag?

No, the Xiaomi X20+ needs the dust bag as it automatically empties/suctions the container in the vacuum cleaner in the station after each suction process.

So this robot will move around and vacuum without a dust bag. The base station has one, which the robot fills little by little at the end of each cleaning session. Does it work without a bag in the base station? I haven't tried it.
