I would like to set up a gaming room in my basement. To do this, I also need wifi. Can I put the device in my basement and then play with wifi without any problems?

Hello

Without problems is relative. It depends on how strong your signal is in the basement. If you receive three bars with your mobile phone, the meshextender should help you. Otherwise I would rather use a powerline product or an additional repeater.
