I would like to set up a configuration in order to benefit from a 10Gb/s Ethernet connection. As I don't want a motherboard with a 10Gb port, I'd like to use the reference network card: TP-Link WL-PCI Express TX401 PCI Ethernet with this NZXT motherboard. My question is simply whether or not this NZXT motherboard has a sufficient PCI.E port to benefit from the network card's theoretical maximum throughput?
The secondary PCI-E ports (the main one being used for the graphics card) on this motherboard are 4. They will therefore be sufficient for the TP-Link network card, which requires 3.0.
