Question about Panasonic Hc V777
I would like to know whether this camera can be operated from the mains (without a battery), as I am planning films with a long running time.
Good question. Of course, you could try to charge the battery at the same time as recording. According to the manual, however, this does not work, see page 12: "The battery will not be charged if the unit is turned on". At least you can double the recording time by buying a stronger battery.
