Question about MSI MPG Z790 CARBON WIFI
I would like to get the motherboard for my i7 14700KF. As far as I know it is designed for the 12th and 13th gen of the i7. I did some research and supposedly it should work with a BIOS update to Gen14? Would this be detrimental to the CPU and motherboard in the long run, or will it degrade their performance, or will it work at all? I know there is a MAX series of the motherboard which is unfortunately very expensive and can't do much more than Wifi 7 and a few ports as far as I've seen.
Hey, it's not harmful for the CPU as soon as you have done the BIOS update, the CPU will run in this board. I use the same board with the same CPU.
