Question about WD Red Plus

I would like to buy WD Red 8 TB for my NAS. Now the question is whether 128MB or 256MB cache. Actually, I think that more cache is better. But why are the HDs with more cache so much cheaper (over 50%) ??? Doesn't that make sense? Two examples (as of 10/11/2024): WD Red Plus 8 TB, 3.5", CMR with 256 MB cache costs 187.- today. (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/wd-red-plus-8-tb-35-cmr-festplatte-40076322) WD Red Plus 8 TB, 3.5", CMR with 128 MB cache costs 292.88 today --> + 56.6% !!! (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/wd-red-plus-8-tb-35-cmr-festplatte-18807934) or for the Pro series: WD Red Pro 8 TB, 3.5", CMR with 512 MB cache costs today 213.- (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/wd-red-pro-8-tb-35-cmr-festplatte-43883142?tagIds=76-535) WD Red Pro 8 TB, 3.5", CMR with 256 MB cache costs 259.- today --> +21.6%! (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/wd-red-pro-8-tb-35-cmr-festplatte-8766620?tagIds=76-535) Why is that? Am I missing something? Who buys the version with less cache?

Helpful answer
For better performance and for multiple simultaneous accesses to the NAS, I recommend hard drives with more cache, as the larger cache speeds up data processing and offers greater efficiency in the long term. The hard drives with less cache come from a different supplier and are more expensive in this case, as the price is set by the supplier and not by Digitec, as is the case with the products with more cache.
