I would like to ask what is meant by "high definition audio". Can this be compared with the "Realtek ALC S1220A" or is the quality worse?

Unfortunately, my GPU obscures the audio chip, but according to screenshots of the board and what I see in the system settings, it is not the chip mentioned.
When it comes to audio, I would always advise an external device, as sources of interference can be better excluded there.
