Question about Philips All-in-One Trimmer Series 9000

I wonder what the situation is now with these trimmers. I bought this product 7 months ago and realised that I had received a secondhand product. It was full of hair and absolutely disgusting. I was able to return the trimmer and was credited the amount. But there was never an explanation and according to the reviews, there is probably no improvement in sight. If I ever buy another trimmer here, can any of you guarantee that you won't sell a dirty and used appliance as new? This return was very inconvenient for me, especially as I was not responsible for the fault. You just have to accept it, full stop.
