I want to equip 2 rooms with this device. How does the TV, SAT-TV and PC signal get to the projector? What other devices are required from the SAT or TV socket? Is the device network-compatible?

The Panasonic PT-AT6000E is not network-compatible and does not have its own audio output. I operate it via a RasPi with OpenElec . This would also allow it to be controlled via the RS232, as well as coupling the curtain control - but this is not necessary, as OpenELEC can be controlled directly with the remote from the PT. The satellite signal can be streamed directly from certain receivers to one or more OpenELEC Media Centres.

I bought the AT 6000 as the successor model to the legendary AT 2000 and am again completely happy with the AT 6000 - it is quieter and brighter than its predecessor and also 3D capable - but now to the questions:

Since the projector does not have its own loudspeakers, the diversions via the home cinema system via HDMI is indispensable as soon as you want sound! I use this system to connect a Cabbel (SAT reciver), a PS3 and Apple TV to the projector. All three devices are network-compatible, so there's no need to connect them directly to the projector. I hope to serve you with this information and wish you a lot of fun with the system. Greetings René

Connect the SAT receiver, Cablecom or Swisscom TV box via HDMI cable to the projector or to the AV receiver. Then only 1 HDMI cable from the AV receiver to the projector. Via RS232 connection you can control the projector from the PC.

Hello NetzMaster,

I have connected all devices (CableSignal, BlueRay, HomeCinemna) to the PT-AT6000E with cables from Home Digital Reference:

Home Digital Reference, HDMI High Speed with Ethernet, 15m (15m)

they are expensive but the quality is there.

As far as I know the Panasonic PT-AT6000E has no WiFi connection, although I believe it is network compatible.

I hope this can help you.
