I want a new TV and have already looked at it a few times. I have no idea but would like an oled device. Would this one be recommended from the price point of view, as it is clearly the cheapest. What is the main difference to the more expensive models?

Applies only to LG: the design and speakers may be different and there are other sizes. The model you selected is from 2018. The equivalent of the latest generation is the OLEDC9. 
Cx is the "entry-level" model of the current processor technology (B8, for example, has an older processor than C8 but similar software features).
