Question about WD Red Plus

I still have a spare 3TB (WD30EFRX) in stock which I don't need for my NAS. Is there any reason not to install this WD30EFRX (3TB) in a PC instead of a NAS or to replace the built-in 1TB disk (SATA III) with the 3 TB disk?
