Question about Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 7
I saw that it has an 8+4 pin CPU connector. Do you need the 4pin connector or is that optional, if so is an adapter supplied with the motherboard?

The 4-pin connection is "optional" to improve the stability of the OC. I would still connect both because it is not obvious when the 4-pin connection is needed.
