Question about Toshiba Canvio Flex

I renamed my new Toshiba Canvio Flex (4TB) the first time I used it. Since then, my Mac can no longer find it. It does not appear in the Finder or on the desktop. Does anyone know what this could be (and how I can solve the problem)? Restarting and trying with a second laptop did not solve the problem either.
