Question about Bomann AR 341

Operating the box with the lid facing upwards is probably not a good idea. I thought I read somewhere that it has to be horizontal for the technology to work properly.

Basically, however, the door should close without any problems. If this is not the case, the distance at the top and bottom of the hinge can be adjusted so that the door is as parallel as possible to the appliance. The rest is done by the seal, which is quite thick and flexible. I had changed the door hinge from right to left and first mounted the door a little too close to the appliance, whereby the seal then jammed and no longer sealed cleanly. However, with a little trial and error, you can easily adjust it. It is also important that no frozen food touches the door in the appliance, otherwise it may no longer close completely or the seal may no longer lie cleanly everywhere. However, if the appliance is not overfilled, the door closes without any problems.
