I read that the asus rog strix x299 gaming board had problems with a core i 9. I had the asus prime x299-a and also had problems. Can we assume that the other mainboards, i.e. Asus x299-A II and ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II, have had these problems fixed? I have read that everything went well with the Gaming II board. I ask because the selection is relatively small in the X299 range. Anyway, the Asus Prime x299-A almost drove me crazy. I hope things improve with the ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II?

I myself have the X299-E Gaming II board and the ASUS ROG Rampage VI Extreme Encore board. You generally have to be careful with such expensive equipment, but I haven't had any problems with it yet, although I have also replaced other components on the board time and again. Overclocking a 10980xe also ran without problems on both boards. I'm still selling the X299-E Gaming II, but not because there were problems, but because I switched to a processor with even more cores. I don't know if there are any special bugs, the PCs just run without problems.

I have been using the ASUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II board since 08.2020 together with an i9-10980xe. Even with overclocking of the 10980xe, the board runs without problems. I can recommend the SUS ROG Strix X299-E Gaming II board and you will be thrilled.

To be more precise, just in case anyone is interested: I tried to clean everything and removed the chip, while cleaning one handle got stuck at the end of the other handle. So I tried to get it out of there and I am completely stuck on the LGA 2066.

DON'T YOU KNOW IT THE CHIP HAS PINS, THE SOCKET!

HIGH RISK ON INSTALL AND CLEANING.
