Question about Shelly 1PM Mini Gen3
I purchased a handfull of those but now I am wondering whether they can actually be used in a 2 way (va-et-vient) circuit. And if so whether anybody could let me know if they've managed to make it work. Thanks
as I understand it (toggle switch?) not really.
but it can be switched remotely with various devices, e.g. two mobile phones or via a router.
the shelly is a relay, must always be supplied with power, can open or close the switch via wifi or a local button.
it can memorise a time schedule for switching on and off, continues to work even without a wifi connection and has other additional functions such as overvoltage protection etc.
the red shelly also measures the power at the consumer, but does not have separate circuits, i.e. it must work with the same voltage, in this case 230v ~.
