Question about Samsung Galaxy Watch 8
I purchased a Galaxy watch 8 yesterday and have just spent 3 hours with the Sunrise tech in Volketswil trying to install an e sim (with its own number) on the watch. After trying everything they advised that it cannot be done. Will this only work with an Swisscom account, if so this should have been stated? help would be appreciated cheers keith

With Sunrise, the Galaxy Watch 8 can only be used as a "number share", i.e. with the same number as your smartphone. Sunrise does not currently support your own number/eSIM.
Swisscom allows this, which is why it works there.
It is difficult to say whether Sunrise should have communicated this; technically, the restriction lies with the supplier, not the watch itself.

Did you manage to set up eSIM on your Smart watch? I also had problems at the beginning. Sunrise Support was able to help me.
