Unfortunately, the product description is still not correct.
I ordered the EZVIZ C3A at the end of July, but received the Dahua cube a1.
Where the mistake was noticed they renamed EZVIZ C3A to Dahua, but the product description is still the same and therefore still mentions EZVIZ C3A. 
Camera is therefore not battery operated.
