You do not need any additional protection for the rear. The protective cover takes over this function.
I bought armoured glass for the front as a precaution.
I had the iPhone X for years with the protective case from the same manufacturer and had no problem with the display.

Works well on my motorcycle. Doesn't need armoured glass but a rain cover might be a good additional investment.

I bought the Quad Lock Case with the Quad Lock Out Front Mount V2. It's enough for me without the armoured glass. I travel a lot by bike or gravel. I've also dropped my iPhone and the case has absorbed all the shocks perfectly. If you want to be even more careful, you can of course add a film to the front. In my opinion, however, it is definitely not necessary on the back.
