Question about Amazon Kindle Oasis Special Offer (2019)

2. shows advertising (more attractively called "special offers"). Deactivation costs something like 15$ - 20$. I deactivated it immediately, so I paid the fee for deactivation (google it). The joke about a Kindle is that it's as close to a book experience as possible, and being constantly distracted by advertising is stupid.
