Question about Samsung Book Cover Keyboard

After much trial and error, I arrive at the following: For Physical Keyboard, Swiss German, Quertz style must be selected. This selection comes relatively far down the list, not with German. There is also the choice Swiss French, just behind Swedish.

It doesn't work with these settings either. The keyboard only knows the German (Deutschland) layout and cannot be changed to German (Schweiz). The best thing is to call Samsung Switzerland Support and arrange a call. They will then take over your screen and realise themselves that this is a software bug.

Yes, it's exasperating! The thing is "self-sufficient". Here's an attempt at a remedy:
-> Settings
-> General Rape
-> Keyboard and Default
GBOARD : off
Samsung keyboard : on
Samsung keyboard : languages and types : there must be German Qwertz in there
-> Physical Keyboard : Samsung Keyboard - German : select Swiss German
ditto for other languages (Fr, US etc.)

Then comes the great hope!
Try typing a § or @ in a mail.
It may be that there are other necessary settings in the General Rape, e.g. also after one of the popular system updates.
