I have the enclosure with two WD RED 4TB disks attached to the Mac. As expected, the disks go into StndBy mode (LEDs off) after a while. However, the fan continues to run. So far I have only a few MB on the disks (RAID1). So the synchronisation should have been completed long ago. Even when I switch off the computer, the fan does not stop. Does anyone have an idea what is going wrong?

Apparently the fan runs continuously. According to customer reviews, this device is not exactly reliable. Mine never worked properly and was immediately returned to Digitec. I also tried cases from manufacturers such as Lian Li and fantec. Neither convinced me. For backup solutions, I recommend products from Synology or individual, external hard drives in use with the Carbon Copy Cloner software.
