I have similar problems as e.g. éàè etc., with L second function @ does not work. Does anyone know how this works or if it is possible. Of course I have already adjusted the hardware settings on the iPad.

Hello, you make the @ sign by pressing the option⌥ and G together.
For the àâá it looks like this.
At the top right of the keyboard you have a key with two symbols on it (^ / `).
For an "â" you press this key and then a, e, i or u.
For an "à", press ⇧ with this key and then a, e, i or u.
For an 'á', press option⌥ with this key and then a, e, i or u.
