I have several questions about this product. 1. are the specifications correct? I'm confused because it doesn't say S, M or L, but it says in the specs that the pen area is about the same as an Intuos M (can't remember the exact size of the M, but S is definitely smaller). 2. how do I connect it to a MacBook Pro 2018 that only has USB C ports? 3. for someone who already owns an Intuos XL (already 5-6 years old, was either L or XL), is this device recommendable (pressure levels, etc) or rather too weak? I don't like to use my Intuos because it is too big for me. Or would you rather recommend an upgrade to a Cintiq? I work in the semi-professional sector.
Hello Raffi
Wacom Intuos CTL 6100 M has the size 264x200x8.8 mm and the active area 216x135 mm.
The device can also be connected via Bluetooth.
I had an Intuos M before and would say it is almost identical except for the buttons of course. Also the size. But you can look up the pen surface in mm in the specs here. The connection with the Mac works well via Bluetooth, but the connection is cut off when the Mac is in sleep mode. Save power. But with a suitable extra cable from USB-C to USB-Micro it works wonderfully.
