I have seen that the remote control has a kind of mouse pointer. I wonder now if I can still use my universal remote control at home for this TV. The most important functions would be enough for me.
You can only control the mouse pointer with the original remote control, depending on how you point it at the TV. I entered the LG code on my Onkyo remote and now I can turn the TV on/off, adjust the volume and even open the setup menu. I don't know if "zapping" works, because I don't use the tuner, only an HDMI input from the A/V receiver with Chromecast and switch. I would assume so, otherwise the universal remote control should be able to learn this, right?
