I have recently (September 2021) purchased this motherboard and would like to use it with a Ryzen 5 5600X. I was convinced that I had to do a BIOS update first. Since I had an Intel processor until now, I would have to do this via USB and flash function. Now I have received the board and there is a sticker on the packaging that says "AMD Ryzen 5000 Desktop ready". Does this mean that I no longer have to do the update, as the board was produced later and is equipped with the current BIOS version, or is it just an indication that this board can also be used with the Ryzen 5000s after a BIOS update?
It means you don't have to do a bios because it's probably a newer revision that already has the bios on it.
