No, that's not true. The eLibrary also works with this Tolino generation. Big BUT: As the tolino-internal browser is still a beta feature, access is sometimes a little more complicated than it was on older Tolinos. The correct size display of the Onleihe page in the beta browser is also sometimes too small. If the user is reasonably tech-savvy, everything should work. If you want to buy this Tolino purely for use with the eLibrary and expect everything to work smoothly the first time you switch it on, then you should probably wait.

As far as I know, you can try out a lot of books at Weltbild, for example. It's also possible that they've reduced this a bit in the meantime.
