I have read that the enclosure has problems with many hard drives and does not recognise many brands. Does anyone have any experience in this regard? How loud do owners find the fan?

I have had a box like this in operation since last week. I have 2x WD Red Pro 3TB (https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/wd-red-pro-3000gb-35-nas-festplatte-3452107) installed in it, which worked perfectly, but I cannot say whether it works so perfectly with all hard disks. (Don't forget that the first time you use it, you have to assign the memory via the administration).
The fan is, in my opinion, very quiet. However, it does not cool very strongly, but at least it is better than nothing.
