I have problems fitting the headrest. The screws are too long. No matter which angle I try, I always wedge them. Is there any way to move the metal part on the support? I read in another post that the screws on the upper joint can be loosened, which are hidden under the plastic caps. But so far I haven't been able to remove them without using a lot of force. I could get the screws through with a few millimetres of pushing. There is really very little that can be done.

Yes, no problem. The fastening part can be adjusted. Put a screwdriver through one of the screw holes and push the fastener outwards. It can be opened enough to get a good grip on the screws and the tool. The screws are not too long! This should make the assembly a success. Have fun with the chair, it's really great.
