I have ordered the Denon PMA 720AE amplifier, but now I would like to know where to connect an active bass speaker.

Active speakers must be connected to pre-outs. The Denon PMA 720AE has this connection. Simply connect the pre-out to your powered speakers using RCA cables.

I use the amplifier with normal passive speakers and am very satisfied, also with the bass. I don't know, but I could imagine that connecting an active speaker or subwoofer could be problematic. In any case, here are some hints: http://www.gutefrage.net/frage...
