Question about PowerGuard USB-C to HP Notebook Charger Adapter (7.4 x 5 mm, 0.6mm)
I have one and it works off a 30w mains charger but I’ve tried a few 12v usb-c car chargers and none work. Any ideas of a car charger it is compatible with?
12V is probably too low a voltage, it won't work.
Sorry, I had the same problem at the time. It never worked.
It depends on the device you want to connect. If you're connecting an HP notebook that requires 19V, it won't work with
a 12V charger...I don't know what kind of device you want to connect, you'd have to be more specific.

30 watts seems rather low to me. The HP power supplies I use tend to have 45, 65 or even 90 watts.
