I have installed my X6S as a repeater (Nighthawk R7000 modem). When I installed it next to the router, everything went fine. As soon as I set up the X6S in the living room, in the setup it shows me in 2.4, 98%, and in 5.0, 80%, it always says "no connection" after the setup - for both. What do I have to do?

Exactly, as an access point I would have to have the X6S next to the Moden or connect it via LAN. I would like to extend the range with this placement and possibly purchase another mesh router. However, it is already not working :-(

I also have the X6S in use, but it says connected. Try setting up the X6S as an access point and not as an extender.
