Question about Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium
I have heard that there is a security system that automatically switches off if something is wrong in the PC and thus protects the components. Does the power supply do this? If yes, also this one ?

There are various protective mechanisms. For example, overvoltage protection, overheating protection, overload protection, etc....
Which one you mean exactly is a little unclear.
Have a look at the specifications under "Safety" for the various power protection functions.
The Prime Titanium series is the best from Seasonic. Many of these protection mechanisms will be included.
