I have heard that Philips often has problems with the sound via HDMI ARC to a soundbar like the Heos soundbar. The sound breaks off at irregular intervals. Is this a known problem?

Helpful answer

I could never really solve the problem between the TV and the Heos Soundbar. Now I have switched to Sonos Playbar and never had a problem again. It seems that Heos and Philips don't really get along. But have now become a Sonos fan anyway.

I have the TV with a Philipps soundbar. So far, no failures during operation.
The only situation that is a little confusing at first: if a programme is paused for a longer period of time via the set-top box, the soundbar goes into stand-by mode. If the programme is then started again, the bar has to be switched on manually again.

Hello!

I have a relatively old Sony Home Cinema connected via HDMI ARC and have never had a problem. What I noticed, however, is that the TV seems to be set by default so that when it is switched on, it also switches on the Home Cinema (at least that was the case for me). But you can switch this off without any problem and then it works perfectly :-) However, I have never had a loss of sound (neither with the Home Cinema nor with the TV itself).
