Question about Trisa Humid Air 1

I have had the humidifier for about a month now. Yesterday, the tank ran completely empty and I wasn't at home to fill it up again. Now the unit won't start even if I've turned it off for a whole night. Has this happened to anyone else or is this simply a warranty issue?

In our case, a red light comes on and it switches off, then it works normally again.

After two of these units stopped working completely, I opened one unit and found the problem. The humidifier uses a small bimetal switch that cuts off the power at a certain temperature. (This prevents the heating element from continuing to run when the tank is empty) The bimetal switch in my defective units was already completely black inside after a few weeks and no longer switched on. I replaced the bimetal switch with a better quality switch and since then the humidifiers have been running perfectly again.

I have the same problem, always the red light and the unit no longer works. I have only used it 2 times.

After a week of operation, I had the same problem when the tank was empty and the unit switched to the red reset button. The next day, I filled the tank again, but the machine no longer worked. After a few minutes, the green light changed back to red reset. I will now replace the unit. A bit annoying after only one week....

We also had a problem with the humidifier. On the third refill, the indicator light changed to "green" but as soon as the water started to heat up a little, the light changed to red and the unit stopped running. I tried everything! Several times. But no chance. I think there is a sensor somewhere that was defective. So I returned the appliance on the 2nd day and bought a new one, from another brand.
