I have digital files which I want to put back onto tape. Is that also possible with this device? It has a line-in input. Thank you very much.

This is possible via the ever-present Line IN port, which also allows tape transfer from digital sources (PC, CD or MD player, music streaming) equipped with an analogue Line OUT.

Yes, but only via the line-in cinch connections from an analogue source (e.g. sound card). The USB interface only works in one direction: for transferring from cassette to PC.

I have also found that the recording quality sounds significantly worse than the playback quality - but this could well be due to my cassettes.
