I have different floors which the X40 Ultra Complete should clean. On all floors there is parquet (only vacuuming) but also stone floors (additional mopping function). How many m2 can this robot hoover clean and/or mop before it has to return to the station to refill the water tank?

Helpful answer

The Dreame X40 Ultra Complete robot hoover is designed to clean a considerable area before it has to return to the station.

### Cleaning area
- The robot can be operated for up to 260 minutes, which is enough to clean an area of around 210 m².

### Mopping function
- With the combination of vacuuming and mopping, the exact area the robot can cover depends on the specific conditions and the intensity of the cleaning. However, it can typically cover a similar area to the vacuuming-only function, as the mopping function is also limited by the battery life and the capacity of the water tank.

### Water tank and self-emptying
- The water tank of the X40 Ultra Complete has a capacity of 4.5 litres, which is sufficient for the mopping function to clean several rooms before it needs to be refilled. The self-emptying station automatically empties the dust container every 75 days and refills the water tank and detergent, which reduces maintenance work.

In total, the X40 Ultra Complete can clean and mop an area of up to 210 m² before having to return to the station to refill the water tank and carry out other maintenance tasks.

The robot itself does not have a water tank, only the station. The cleaning pads are moistened and then the robot is sent on a mission. For floors where the station is not installed, you can moisten the pads and then place the robot on the corresponding floor. Hope this is the answer to your question ;)
