I have converted my car to DAB with the Alpine EZI-DAB-BT. However, when I want to make a phone call, my microphone does not work. I can hear the other person, but he can't hear me. Is it possible that my microphone is defective?

I also had this problem at the beginning. In my case, I had not plugged the microphone in completely. You really have to put the whole thing in with a bit of pressure so that the plug is flush. Now the phone quality is quite good.

Thanks from my side as well. It worked by plugging the mic all the way in.
It's kind of fiddly and you don't really know when it's plugged in properly.
"Flush is the right term.

Thanks for the tip with the "flush plug"! I was frustrated for a moment when the mic didn't work. Now it works as desired.

- Complete cable and receiver set stowed in the lower centre console (incl. antenna).
- Took power from the cigarette lighter with the following part: Caliber MAU201 Marine USB Socket Charger
- Mic positioned where the car manufacturer would have intended it (if the hands-free system had been installed at the factory), in my case in the centre console under the original radio slot, there was a camouflaged hole.

It took two of us about 2 hours... now everything works and you can't see a single cable, only the display.
Reception is top, we have also installed the earthing.

I can recommend this product.

I was able to solve it thanks to your tip. It's just a pity that it didn't make it into the operating instructions.
