1. test this RAM stick alone in different memory banks. If it does not work anywhere, then it is defective and a warranty case.

Is the sound card displayed in the Windows Device Manager (audio video camera controller, audio inputs and outputs)? Does the Windows Control Panel show anything under the Sound icon? Does the sound work when you plug the speakers into the sound output of the mainboard? Have you installed the sound driver? Have you plugged in the sound connector from the housing in the right place on the mainboard? Remove the plug and check whether you have sound when you plug the speakers into the correct sound output on the mainboard.
