Question about Lenovo USB Type C standard power supply unit
I have bought the ICY Box IB-DK2106-C. When I connect the two monitors via HDMI and then connect the USB Type-C cable to the laptop, the box whistles at a very high pitch but does not recognise the monitors. If I connect the monitors directly to the laptop via HDMI, they work. Does the docking station need a direct additional power connection if there is no Flash 3 connection but only a USB Type-C without power supply? Does the power supply unit above from Lenovo work with my SB-DK2106-C docking station? Thanks for an answer

I wanted to be able to use the Lenovo laptop outdoors without a large monitor, so I used the standard USB-C power supply.
By the way, it works at home with or without the power supply, i.e. the large monitor is then virtually the power supply USB-C and I can work with both monitors (Dell and Lenovo) separately. I have no experience with HDMI.
