Question about Apple Smart Keyboard

I have been using the keyboard for some time as the only protection for my iPad...now I notice notches in the display for which I have no explanation (i.e. no event to which these damages could be attributed)...so I suspect the keyboard, but this does not seem plausible to me...does anyone have similar damages? Or rather, who doesn't have any? The nicks are not very deep, but clearly visible when the display is cleaned in good light...thanks for feedback!

No, no damage here either. However, the display still gets a little dirty, even when the cover is closed. Damage may occur if something gets on the keyboard and causes friction when the cover is closed.

I have no such damage. I can't imagine that this comes from the keyboard. It should be obvious from it.
