i have an old model, the square one. this one can be put into a holder via which it is then supplied with power by means of a cable. the panel can also be taken out of the holder. what does that look like with this device? i don't want one that has to be plugged into the "cigarette" socket and one that needs a battery but can be connected directly to the car's power supply (just, ignition off=power gone). it would be nice if there were pictures of these options too :)

i am not really enthusiastic, i also had the electrician install it at a specialist garage, but the reception is not impeccable. with the "old" model (which unfortunately is no longer sold) the reception was top and nothing with interference!

The panel has a base that is glued to the armature... the power and antenna cable is plugged into the back of the panel. Unfortunately I can't send you a picture. I hope this helps...
