I have an iMAC 24" from the end of 2006 (model identification according to BIOS: iMAC 6.1), which should be upgraded. Do these bars work? And if not, can someone tell me if and which bars can be installed? The Kingston page no longer gives me anything.

No, it won't work. The iMac6,1 needs DDR2 RAM, the one offered here is a DDR3. In this type of iMac you can only activate a maximum of 3 GB RAM, the chipset will not recognise more, even if you install 2 x 2 GB. The right memory for your iMac would be this: http://digit.ec/222365
But beware, only 3 GB of this installed 4 GB will be used!
