I have an Asus RT-AC68U. Can I connect the Devolo to this? So that I can still control the devices with DHCP etc. via Asus and the Devolo thing is only for Internet distribution?

Yes, it works out of the box.
Simply leave the DHCP server in the devolo switched off.
