I have a TOPO Switzerland memory card for my Garmin Montana hiking navi. Can I transfer hiking routes created with this map in Basecamp to the Garmin Fenix 5X Saphir?

When you plug in the watch, it recognises Basecamp as a device and you can simply synchronise the route to the watch. GPX files can also be transferred to the watch... see e.g. https://www.wareable.com/garmin/how-to-add-gpx-routes-to-your-garmin-gps-watch-4470

Did it myself from Basecamp and then went hiking with the watch - really a great product! I am very satisfied.
