I think so. I have TV via the INternet including Netflix. The sound then goes from the TV to the Sonos via the HDMI ARC connection. I haven't tried BD player yet, but I don't see why it shouldn't work the same way. The configuration of the Sonos has to be done via an app on your mobile phone. Especially the automatic switching on of the Sonos, deep in the menu Settings/Settings Room/TV.
