Question about Sony Kd-65a1

I have a question about optimal seating distance. I sit 3.5 metres away from the TV. I often watch TV but also DVD, but normal, no K4 or only a little in Bluerax quality. What fits better a 65" or 55". Now I have a Samsung K4 75" and it is massively too big. I can exchange it now. I'm unsure because despite the great Sony TV, I only watch DVDs that don't come in with such a good resolution.

At a distance of 3.5m, a 65" screen is certainly better.
I would no longer buy the Sony A1 as long as Sony has not optimised its Android operating system. For me (and many other people), the TV produces an unannounced reset about every 2 days, then restarts with the SONY emblem and the Android light chain. Very unpleasant. Despite two firmware updates, the problem has still not been solved. Actually a shame for such an expensive TV. Better to buy an LG OLED TV.

When playing SD resolution, I would recommend the 55 inch - even at 3.5 distance. HD (720p) and above is scaled in usable quality.
I seem to have had more luck with my 65A1 than others here - mine runs without problems and has no processing defects.
